Gyeognggi tourism Organization

a governmental organization funded by the Gyeonggi-do provincial government that aims to establish Gyeonggi-do as a dynamic business events destination where people, technology and ideas converge to create great value and a memorable experience for customers.

As the lead quasi-government organization in the tourism and business events sector in Gyeonggi-do, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization assists business event organizers, corporations and associations by providing comprehensive and impartial information on Gyeonggi-do’s meeting and exhibition facilities, incentive venues and industry partners. We help with set-up and facilities arrangements with industry partners, organizers and other government agencies to ensure the successful staging of business events. As added benefits, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization offers the following:

· Individualized financial subsidies to business event organizers, corporations and associations
· Complimentary site inspections tours (including accommodation, hosted tour, interpreter (if required), dinner, etc.)
· Promotional and orientation materials like brochures, visitor guides, maps, audio-visual materials, etc.
· New marketing channel development for business events
· Liaison support with relevant government bodies and third parties

The Suwon Convention Center

The Suwon Convention Center, which opened in March 2019, established itself as the best new MICE complex in the southern region of Gyeonggi-do in Korea. 

The center consists of an Exhibition hall(7,877㎡), Convention hall(3,040㎡), 28 small & medium-sized conference rooms, and a theater-type Event hall(256 seats). In addition, the venue provides convenient access to the Courtyard Marriott Suwon hotel, department store, and Aqua Planet(aquarium) within walking distance. 

Based on various tourism resources such as World Cultural Heritage 'Suwon Hwaseong Fortress', 'Samsung Innovation Museum' and 'Flying Suwon', 

Suwon has been successfully held 'The 8th Asia Pacific Urban Forum(APUF-8)', 'The 35th World Congress of International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science', '2021 Asia-Pacific Environment Ministers' Forum' and many more. Also, several upcoming global events are heading to Suwon, such as 'IEEE World Haptics Conference 2025', 'The 20th ITS Asia Pacific Forum' and so on.
