Kumi Ikeda

Kumi Ikeda, the owner and managing director of Business Event Solutions & Travel Co., Ltd. (BEST), established in September 2017, a travel industry veteran of over 30 years as senior director and representative for international organizations such as the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Swiss Hotels, Hong Kong Disneyland and the Hawaii Convention Center.The main client of BEST since 2018, she has been working for Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) as Japan Representative based in Tokyo, proactively with Team Thailand members to promote Thailand as MICE destination for MICE players in Japan. Ikeda has a history of cultivating long-standing relationships with key clients across all market segments including travel agencies, corporate incentive and congress organizers, associations and academia. Her areas of expertise include new market development, high-level sales and promotions, and communications.
