Amy Calvert is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Events Industry Council (EIC), a global federation of more than 34 Association Member organisations representing 103,500 individuals and 19,500 entities, and more than 24 Corporate Members with global operations and event teams in countries around the world. EIC's mission focuses on supporting the global business events industry through advocacy, research, professional standards and recognition. 

Ms. Calvert provides strategic oversight for EIC’s programmes, including the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Sustainable Event Professional Certificate (SEPC) programmes, the EIC Centre for Sustainability and Social Impact, the Accepted Practices Exchange (APEX) Commission, EIC Global Awards and Hall of Leaders. 

As EIC’s CEO, Ms. Calvert represents the business events industry and the 26 million jobs and 1.5 Trillion USD in global GDP that the industry supports. She is a strong advocate for equitable, sustainable and responsible practices in our industry and for the communities we serve.
