Carrie Kwik
Ms Carrie Kwik assumed the position of Executive Director, Conventions, Meetings & Incentive Travel in November 2025. She leads the division in attracting quality association congresses and corporate events to Singapore, amplifying Singapore's status as the World's Best Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) City. She also oversees local industry growth to further entrench Singapore as a business events destination.
Prior to the appointment, Carrie was Executive Director, World Expo & Special Project since November 2023. In this capacity, she was responsible for the whole-of-government efforts to conceptualise, develop, and operate the Singapore Pavilion at Osaka World Expo 2025, which successfully attracted over two million visitors. She also helmed the development of a new Wellness Attraction to establish Singapore as an urban wellness destination.
Carrie was based in London a s Executive Director, Europe from November 2019 to November 2023 and was responsible for the Board's international operations in Europe developing marketing strategies and spearheading business development efforts. Carrie was also Executive Director, Attractions, Entertainment & Tourism Concept Development from Jul 2016 to Oct 2019 and oversaw the development of the attractions and entertainment industry, to ensure a strong pipeline of attractions and leisure events in Singapore. Key projects which Carrie had championed included the rejuvenation of Mandai to establish an expanded nature-based precinct targeted at the family segment, a s well as the launch of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Jurong Lake District attractions site.
Carrie brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the tourism sector, having held various key positions since joining the Board in 1992. Other than Sightseeing & Cruise, the portfolios she had helmed included Executive Director, Business Tourism Development in the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau (SECB), as well as Executive Director, Integrated Resorts overseeing the team that supported the opening of Singapore's two integrated resorts.
Carrie graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Travel Industry Management School, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors). She is also a graduate of the Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) programme at the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management (CNI).
